“Brown” parts were done using a base coat of Gunze Red Brown (60%) + black (40%). I then added white and more red brown on top for shading.
“Blue” parts were done using a base coat of Intermediate blue (or Middle Blue in the manual) (70%) + white (30%). I added more white for shading.
With most parts done, it’s time for some sub-assembly.
It’s a truly wonderful feeling seeing it all come together after so long. Not pictured, but internals were painted using Gunze Neutral Gray (50%) + Black (50%). With all parts painted now, I should have this kit completed by the end of the week, with all that’s left to do is more assembly and a final top coat.
